RE: Hi-Lo trailers

Welcome Anita, We have a 1704T Hi-Lo. Have camped in many Fl state CG's, and last spring did a 7000 mile round trip to San Francisco via the Grand Canyon, San Antonio and other stops. We love the Hi Lo and so does Bogey the dog! Al and Deb

RE: Elevation questions

I live in FLA, elevatin about 3 ft..I.m 65 and had on lobe removed on my left lung. Wife and I camped at he GC in may at 7000 ft. and did some hiking. Did feel winded at times but just took it easy and took more rest stops. As stated above, hydration is extremely important. Al C

RE: San Francisco Campgrounds

Ditto Twins89. Stayed at Anthony Chabot this May. Worth the ride in. Quiet, many hiking trails, beautiful views over the lake. Wild tukey and deer, yet only about a 15 min. drive to the Bart station. Al C.

RE: HI-Lo Experiences

We have a 1704T(2004 towlite 17footer) and we love it. Just finished a 7000 mile coast to coast round trip. Love the low profile towing and good gas mileage. Also stores in the garage. There is a Hi-Lo owners forum on Yahoo. Good luck. Al C

RE: hi lo's

I am the happy owner of a 17 ft. Hi-Lo. Just finished a 7000 mile cross country with the DW and dog. Pulled with a Ford f150 V6. Appreciated the low profile coming into Demming NM with 58 mph winds. Sets up in seconds and stores in my garage. Also, I'm 6 ft. and haven't hit the ceiling yet, so it must be higher than 5'11". Really, we love it. Al C

Tom's River NJ area campgrounds

Going to be passing thru this area and plan to spend a week visiting DW's family, some of who are in Tom's River and some in Bridgewater. Any suggestions for CGs that accept pets and have full hook-ups. Has anyone heard of Pine Cone Resort in Freehold? Thanks, AL C

RE: San Francisco Area R.V. parks

Last month we spent a week at Anthony Chabot Regional Campground. Really loved it. Out in the woods with deer, wild turkey, etc. Great hiking trails. Just about a 10 to 15 min ride to the Bart Station to go into San Francisco. About 75 sites but only about 12 full hook-ups. Al C.

RE: Getting scared...

All great advice. Just relax and have a great time. Just finished a 7000 mile round trip coast to coast. In most cases made our reservation on the fly for the same day, and quit between 2 nad 3 pm most days. Every 3 0r 4 days picked a point of interest for extended stay and also caught up on maintenance and laundry, etc. Didn't have any major problems, just a few glitches here nad there. Al C.

RE: HI-LO Hydraulic pump

Sounds like too much fluid. Should br about an inch from the top of the resevoir with the top down. You also might have some expansion if the temperature is really hot. Al C. 1704 HI-LO

RE: Big trip plans for a little tt?

We just got back from about a 7000 mile round trip from Port St. Lucie FL to San Francisco in our 17 foot HI-LO. All went well except for the 58 mph winds in New Mexico that closed I10. Thank God for the low profile on the tt. Al C
